The card is based on the G96 GPU, technical data is similar to the 8600 GT. The most obvious difference is the production in 55 nanometers. The number of ALUs and ROPs - 32 respectively 8 - are the same. Of course DX 10, SLI and PCI-E 2.0 are supported and Pure Video 3 isn't missing either. The clock speed of all four models will be set to 550 Megahertz and the memory interface is 128 Bit wide. The GDDR2 versions use 1,024 Mibyte at 667 MHz or 512 Mibyte at 800 Megahertz and thus are slower than their GDDR5 siblings - but offer a CRT port. The GDDR3 9500 GT are set to 1,600 megahertz and have two DVI ports. All versions have a HDTV port.
!!!New low-cost GPU within this month!!!
